Position Overview:

MacMore is seeking Medical Review Specialist(s) to support a pending award at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation for a pending contract award.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct medical reviews of reasonable accommodation and sick leave requests in support of the Office of Human Resources Management (OHRM).
  • Evaluate employee-submitted documentation (e.g., medical records, accommodation requests, and position descriptions) to assess completeness and compliance with applicable policies.
  • Determine the need for additional medical information from healthcare providers to support informed decision-making.
  • Assess whether proposed accommodations enable employees to perform the essential functions of their positions.
  • Provide clear, timely recommendations and guidance to OHRM on accommodation determinations and related medical considerations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least four (3) years of more HR generalist experience.
  • At least four (3) years of experience performing reasonable accommodation and medical documentation reviews..  
  • Knowledge of the Rehab Act of 1973 as amended, the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA), and guidance from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). 
  • Experience providing consultant services in the area of reasonable accommodation. 
  • Must have technical skills to develop overall plans, procedures, and operating methods for assignments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
